Bring the shadows of your garden to life
with this excellent new fern. Ghost is an American hybrid that was developed by
Nancy Swell of Virginia by crossing Lady Fern with Japanese Painted fern. This
extraordinary perennial almost glows when planted among vivid greens. The finely cut apple
green fronds are frosted in a silvery-white and grow upright to a height of three feet
with a clump width of about 2 feet. If you have a shady spot in your yard that needs
to be livened up - Ghost Fern fits the bill. Absolutely gorgeous!
Note: We
have noticed that this fern seems to tolerate dry spells better than most ferns.
