that produces in masses. The color is softer than most other coreopsis
flowers and can be used in very nice accenting with out overpowering
colors of other plants. Blooms begin to open up in mid May and continue
through August. Clumps are open and airy, with needle like foliage
and have a delicate look. Unlike other Coreopsis, Moonbeam can tolerate
light shade. Plants prefer a well drained soil and will tolerate
heat despite their dainty appearance. Remove spent flower heads
to prolong flowering.
