Early Sunrise is quiet the show off - large 2 inch blooms appear a full 2 weeks earlier
than most other coreopsis varieties. Brilliant gold, semi-double flowers appear on neat,
compact plants from May through most of September. Early Sunrise is unbeatable for
continuing color in the garden. Plants are very easy to grow and will thrive in hot dry
soils that other perennials will not grow. The plant is self-cleaning, meaning you do not
have to deadhead this beauty to keep it in bloom. Plant Early Sunrise in full sun in a
well drained soil. Be careful not to over fertiize as it can result in lush growth at the
expense of flowers. We recommend only a light dressing of bone meal in the spring
followed by a monthly dose of fish emulsion. Coreopsis 'Early Sunrise' is an All
