This is the classic white Astilbe. Perfectly
named, with its lacy, pure white panicles that gently droop at the tip of the flower
spike. Plants have a very nice deep green, glossy foliage that provides great contrast for
the bright white flowers. Of all the whites we have grown down through the years we always
come back to this tried and true beauty. Plant in partial shade for best color and
provide a soil that is rich in organic matter. Astilbe plants are tough but have one
requirement that must be met; the soil must stay moist or they will not perform to full
potential. To help provide adequate moisture levels always use a good layer of mulch.
After years of trying other whites, Astilbe 'Bridal Veil' has once again returned to our
catalog as the best white Astilbe.
