A very nice yarrow with multicolored flower heads
that change from a gorgeous salmon-pink to a terra cotta orange and pale yellow -- with
all three colors appearing on the plant at the same time. Butterflies are constantly
visiting this plant in our garden and no one passes it by it with out asking if all the
colors are coming from the same plant. Plant this Achillea just as you would any
other. It prefers full sun and is not fussy over soil types. I will stand up to hot
weather and dry locations. Foliage is silver-grey and fern-like. Achillea
'Terra Cotta' is very easy to establish in the garden and is long lived.
Flowers from June - October with proper dead heading and light pruning.
