Hostas prefer partial to full shade and a good rich garden soil that is moist but well drained. Moisture plays a crucial role in growing beautiful Hosta plants - you will need to water plants during prolonged dry spells. Feed in very early spring with a top dressing of composted manure and bone meal. Liquid feed at least twice during the growing season with seaweed extract or fish emulsion. Bouquet was the first hybrid Hosta to bring back fragrant flowers combined with the
varigated foliage and large round, ovate leaves that are so popular with todays Hosta
lovers. The leaves are a very pleasing shade of apple green with pale yellow
margins. Hosta 'Fragrant Bouquet was awarded the AHS Hosta of the Year in 1998. We
