Hostas prefer partial to full shade and a good rich garden soil that is moist but well drained. Moisture plays a crucial role in growing beautiful Hosta plants - you will need to water plants during prolonged dry spells. Feed in very early spring with a top dressing of composted manure and bone meal. Liquid feed at least twice during the growing season with seaweed extract or fish emulsion. A very distinctive sport of Hosta
'Great Expectations. Dream Weaver has a wider blue-green margin and is more vigorous than
its parent. The incredible leaves boast wide blue-green edges that sharply contrast the
creamy yellow to white centers. The nearly round leaves are heavily corrugated and form
clumps up to three feet wide when mature. If you have tried to grow 'Great
Expectations' and have had some problems getting it to preform - Dream Weaver is
your solution. We are really looking forward to seeing how this one does in our
