Another wonderful Hosta
introduction from Walters Gardens. Dancing in the Rain is a sport of 'Blue Umbrellas' a
very popular blue Hosta. Leaves have outstanding, pure white centers with blue-green
streaks and margins. The very clean white centers of Dancing in the Rain are very dramatic
and really pop out when planted in filtered sunlight. As with many white centered Hostas,
plants can be a little slow to establish themselves, but your patience will be rewarded!

| Mature plant size:
28" tall X 40" wide |

flowers appear in mid-summer |

Hostas prefer partial to full
shade and a good rich garden soil that is moist but well drained. Moisture plays a crucial
role in growing beautiful Hosta plants - you will need to water plants during prolonged
dry spells. Feed in very early spring with a top dressing of composted manure and bone
meal. Liquid feed at least twice during the growing season with seaweed extract or
fish emulsion. For more growing instructions see our Hosta
care guide. |
