Hostas - a color not found in any other group of perennials. Besides the beautiful
leaf color, another favorable characteristic is that many offer better slug resistance.
Blue Hostas have a waxy coating over their leaves making the foliage thicker and tougher.
This same waxy coating is what gives the Hosta its blue color. If grown in to much sun
this waxy coating can melt away causing the Hosta to turn green. Blue Hostas retain
